Reviews for Oriental mee tarik Setia Alam
Review highlights
Based on 44 reviewsOriental Mee Tarik Setia Alam is widely praised for its flavorful, hand-pulled noodles and rich, well-seasoned broths, which form the highlight of the dining experience. Customers appreciate the variety offered, including both soupy and stir-fried dishes, with certain menu items like the cumin fried noodles and chili oil receiving specific commendations. The restaurant maintains a comfortable environment with attentive service and ample parking. While the portion sizes are generally sufficient for sharing, some feedback points to variability in soup temperature and occasional inconsistencies in certain items such as dumpling filling and skewer texture. Pricing is seen as reasonable, especially during promotional periods, though the restaurant is considered slightly pricier than average. Overall, it remains a favored halal dining option in the Setia Alam area.
I loved the noodle! With a heavy se rod beef broth. Flavour is on point and the taste is good! The pricing is good also. Fast servicing and a chill environment.
I had the dumpling noodles and green pepper & potato floss, and everything was absolutely delicious! The noodles were perfectly hand-pulled, springy, chewy, and soaked up the rich, flavorful broth. The dumplings were plump and juicy, packed with savory filling that tasted fresh and well-seasoned. The potato was a perfect side, crisp, tangy, and lightly spicy. It balanced out the warmth of the noodles really nicely. Portion sizes were generous, prices reasonable, and the service was quick and friendly. You can tell they put heart into the food here. Highly recommended for anyone craving real-deal halal ramen noodles. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Went here 18/7 for their last day beef noodle RM5.00 promotion. Also order their skewer. All I can say is the noodle is good, the soup is a plain soup but adding some chilli oil is already enough for taste. The dumpling is ok however the filling is little and the dumpling's skin a bit thick. The beef slice inside is ok I guess, not gummy but the lamb skewer a bit disappointment, some of it gummy and the portion is little in my opinion. If you look at the menu, the price for me a bit pricier than the nearest mee tarik u could find (at Alam budiman) so if I want to eat here with no money restricted I would go.
Hand down, this is the best mee tarik in Setia Alam, (not the cheapest). They have many choices from soupy dish to stir fried. My fav so far is cumin fried noodle. Their chilli oil is amazing and very flavorful. The portion for normal Malaysian adult can feed 2 person at least. The service and environment is good also. Plenty of paid parking spaces.
The noodle soup is nice.....but the food serving speed can be improved..... Recently, the RM5.00 promotion was good, but the noodle portion was too little, and the soup temperature was not hot enough......
Braise noodle chicken, dumpling noodle soup, fried dumpling were good in taste. Recommended. Fast service Reasonable rice
